AlwaysOn Configuration - Initial Creation

Once all databases have been backed up, we need to create the Availability Group. Right click on AlwaysOn High Availability > New Availability Group Wizard

I don’t want this screen to keep popping up, so I selected Do not show this page again. Click Next

Add a descriptive name for the availability group. Click Next

Select the database you want to use. As you can see, the ReportServer database select is greyed out and the status is Full backup is required. Click Next.

Click on Add Replica, connect to the second instance (repeat this process for each node you want to add. The primary will already exist).

Select each check box and make sure that for Readable Secondary, Yes has been selected Click Next
