Installing the Platform Services Controller: Stage 2

Stage 2: Set Up the Platform Services Controller Appliance

Click Next

It is highly recommended to use a reliable NTP server. I also enable SSH here so I don’t need to do it later on.

As this is the first Platform Services Controller in the domain, we will create a new SSO domain. Fill in your information and click Next to continue.

If you want to join the CEIP leave the tickbox checked, otherwise uncheck it. Click Next

Review the information and click Finish to finalise the install of your Platform Services Controller.

Click OK.

The application setup is now underway.

Your Platform Services Controller is now set up and is ready for use.

If you browse to https://hostname.domain.local:443 you should get to a browser page that looks like:

Now we need to install a vCenter Server and connect it to the Platform Services Controller.
