Stage 2: Set Up the vCenter Server Appliance

Click Next

It is highly recommended to use a reliable NTP server. I also enable SSH here so I don’t need to do it later on and it is just in a lab. I wouldn’t recommend this in a production environment for obvious reasons.

Fill in the details of your Platform Services Controller and SSO information. Click Next.

Review the information and click Finish to finalise the install of your vCenter Server

Click OK.

The application setup is now underway.

Your vCenter Server is now set up and is ready for use.

If you browse to https://hostname.domain.local:443 you should get to a browser page that looks like:
